Five matched fossil lemon shark teeth, left in their natural fossilized black enamel, each individually hand wire-wrapped in gold-plated wire along a gold-plated chain. Every shark tooth carries the same quiet truth — strength, resilience, survival — but this piece adds something more: she doesn't have to carry it solo. A NOTE FROM ME

Kindred was the name of my brother's boat — the place he called home for thirty years. He passed away this past October, and this piece is named in his memory. Kindred is exactly what it means: connected, matched, belonging to each other — whether that's five teeth from the same collection, or the people in our lives who are part of us whether they're still here or not.

The woman who has been through something and came out the other side still whole. She's not fragile, and she's not asking for sympathy — she's just wearing proof that she survived it, matched and whole, just like these five teeth. She's also the woman who knows exactly who her circle is, and wants something that says so.

Remove before swimming, bathing, or working out — saltwater, chlorine, sunscreen, and sweat are hard on gold plating over time. Store in a soft pouch or a separate compartment of your jewelry box to keep it from tangling or scratching. Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, which can strip the plating or dull the stone.
