Bull sharks don't stay where they're supposed to. They swim into rivers, into lakes, into water no other shark can survive — built for wherever they land, not just the one place they came from. That kind of adaptability is its own quiet power.

A fossil bull shark tooth, hand-painted silver, hangs at the center of this piece — flanked by mother of pearl on either side and a single Herkimer diamond caught between them. Mother of pearl builds itself in layers, one thin coat at a time, turning something that started as an irritant into something iridescent. The Herkimer, doubly terminated and naturally clear, adds a point of light between the two.

Strength doesn't always look the same twice. Sometimes it's staying put. Sometimes it's a shark who learned to live anywhere the water took her.
